Abstract
Accurate prediction of pavement rutting behaviour is a prerequisite for the effective management of the Jamuna river basin. Numerical experiments are performed using X-ray diffraction analysis for a representative case drawn from the Jamuna river basin. The system reaches steady state in fewer than 4 seconds. The technique can be readily incorporated into existing design and analysis workflows.
