AB  - The increasing demand placed on the Jamuna river basin has renewed interest in the study of corrosion of mild steel. The parameters of the model are estimated through numerical integration schemes and verified against measured values. The measured values of corrosion of mild steel fall within 12% of the predicted range. The approach is simple enough to be implemented with the resources typically available locally.
