Abstract
Little quantitative data are available on heat exchanger thermal performance for seismic regions under local conditions. The paper presents a systematic procedure combining fuzzy logic control with careful dimensional reasoning. A payback period of about 3 years is estimated for the proposed installation. The study lays the groundwork for the development of more comprehensive design tools.
