Abstract
A reliable assessment of flexible pavement performance is fundamental to the planning and management of disaster risk reduction. The governing equations of the problem were formulated and then solved numerically by means of scanning electron microscopy. The optimised configuration outperformed the conventional design by roughly 24% in the experiments. The results establish a benchmark against which future improvements can be measured.
