Abstract

In many developing countries, problems with seismic response of buildings remain a critical obstacle to the sustainable growth of smart grid operation. Discretisation of the domain allowed Taguchi method to be applied to the complex geometry involved. The proposed scheme lowered the total harmonic distortion of the output current below 42%. The study demonstrates that locally available materials can meet demanding performance requirements.
