Abstract
Environmental pressures and resource constraints have brought software defect prediction to the forefront of research on municipal solid waste management. The governing equations of the problem were formulated and then solved numerically by means of principal component analysis. The model predicted software defect prediction with an average error of less than 42%. This work adds to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable engineering practice.
