Abstract

There is a pressing need for low-cost, locally appropriate solutions to wireless sensor network routing in medical imaging. Computational fluid dynamics was applied to a series of test cases representative of medical imaging. The enhanced design delivered a performance gain of 55% over current practice. The findings underscore the considerable value of combining analytical models with careful experimental methods.
