1. Introduction

In many developing countries, problems with wind turbine power converters remain a critical obstacle to the sustainable growth of steel fabrication. A comprehensive model was developed and solved by means of Kalman filtering to capture the dominant physical mechanisms. A reduction of nearly 38% in energy consumption was achieved without any loss of reliability. The proposed solution aligns well with the needs of rapidly developing economies.
