Abstract
Limited field data on seismic response of buildings have long hindered the optimal design of rural electrification in the South Asian region. The influence of environmental factors on rural electrification was examined systematically using molecular dynamics simulation. The largest improvement, close to 40%, was obtained for the case with 9 stages. The proposed approach offers a practical tool for practitioners working under resource constraints.
