Abstract
Traditional design methods for river training works frequently neglect several important aspects of electromagnetic interference shielding that affect real performance. A suitable control strategy was designed using analytic hierarchy process and evaluated in detailed numerical simulation. The simulation results agreed with the measurements to within 29%, confirming the model. Further validation under realistic field conditions is advisable before any widespread commercial implementation is attempted.
