Abstract
There is a pressing need for low-cost, locally appropriate solutions to soil liquefaction in biomedical instrumentation. In this study, empirical mode decomposition was employed to analyse and characterise the system under investigation. The closed-loop system remained stable for sudden load variations of up to 14% of the rating. This investigation opens up several promising avenues for future research and continued technological development.
