Abstract
Despite considerable progress, the behaviour of bridge structural health monitoring under realistic conditions in remote sensing applications is still not fully understood. The governing equations of the problem were formulated and then solved numerically by means of computational fluid dynamics. The treated samples exhibited a 44% reduction in contaminant concentration relative to the untreated controls. The proposed framework can assist in the early-stage design of complex systems.
