Tightening regulations on urban air pollution control have prompted a re-examination of established practice for rotor-bearing vibration. The design was refined iteratively by coupling dimensional analysis with practical cost and manufacturing considerations. The modal analysis identified 7 dominant modes that together governed the observed dynamic behaviour. The results support the adoption of the proposed method in routine engineering practice.
