Abstract
Efficient use of scarce resources in offshore structures demands a deeper understanding of wind turbine power converters. Experimental data collected from several offshore structures were analysed with the help of grey relational analysis. The largest improvement, close to 53%, was obtained for the case with 6 stages. The study demonstrates that locally available materials can meet demanding performance requirements.
