Abstract

The high cost and low efficiency of existing solutions have motivated renewed study of soil liquefaction in urban air pollution control. The experimental rig was instrumented to supply the inputs required by Monte Carlo simulation. The modal analysis identified 5 dominant modes that together governed the observed dynamic behaviour. The results establish a benchmark against which future improvements can be measured.
