Abstract

There is a pressing need for low-cost, locally appropriate solutions to fluidised-bed combustion in aerospace components. Experimental data collected from several aerospace components were analysed with the help of decision tree classification. The classification accuracy for fluidised-bed combustion reached 6% on the independent test dataset used for evaluation. The results are expected to inform future revisions of standards and practical design guidelines.
