Abstract

The high cost and low efficiency of existing solutions have motivated renewed study of reactive power compensation in food processing industries. The governing equations of the problem were formulated and then solved numerically by means of grey relational analysis. The measured efficiency reached up to 9% under the optimal operating conditions. The outcomes contribute to safer and more economical infrastructure in developing regions.
