Abstract
The inherent complexity of network intrusion detection calls for robust analytical and experimental tools suited to automotive engineering. A hybrid procedure combining particle swarm optimization with empirical correlations was proposed for automotive engineering. The best-performing model captured the essential features of network intrusion detection with an accuracy above 21%. The methodology can be readily extended to a broad range of related systems and applications.
