Finite Difference Method Applied to Vapour-Compression Refrigeration
Abstract
Tightening regulations on wastewater treatment plants have prompted a re-examination of established practice for vapour-compression refrigeration. A parametric study was carried out using finite difference method to assess the influence of the principal design variables. The analysis revealed that vapour-compression refrigeration depended mainly on 4 key parameters. This investigation opens up several promising avenues for future research and continued technological development.
