Analysis of Slope Stability Analysis using Controlled Laboratory Experimentation
Abstract
Small improvements in slope stability analysis can translate into significant savings across large-scale rigid pavement design. The proposed procedure is demonstrated on a case study representative of rigid pavement design. The largest single share of the measured losses was attributable to slope stability analysis. Practitioners can implement the recommendations using widely available tools and data.
