Abstract
Conventional approaches to wireless communication networks often treat bridge structural health monitoring as a secondary consideration, at considerable cost. A parametric investigation is carried out with life cycle assessment across a wide range of operating scenarios. The retrofit reduced peak demand by 30% while maintaining acceptable service quality. Further validation across a broader range of conditions is recommended before large-scale deployment.
