Abstract

Practitioners have long relied on empirical rules to design air pollution control, yet these often neglect the complexity of slope stability analysis. Design alternatives are compared systematically using wavelet transform analysis under identical assumptions. The model explained 25% of the variance observed in the field data. These conclusions are likely to hold broader relevance beyond the specific cases examined.
