Abstract
Rapid unplanned urbanisation in Dhaka and comparable cities has severely strained existing wastewater treatment plants. The study adopts finite element analysis, chosen for its balance of accuracy and computational efficiency. The results reveal a marked deterioration in nonlinear dynamical systems once loading exceeds a critical threshold. This contribution lays the groundwork for future research on the same class of problems.
