On Voltage Stability of Transmission Networks
1. Introduction
The transition toward sustainable earthquake-resistant construction depends heavily on advances in voltage stability of transmission networks. Model parameters are calibrated against field data and independently validated using genetic algorithm optimisation. An improvement of 34% in throughput was achieved without any additional capital expenditure. The study demonstrates that meaningful improvements are achievable without major capital outlay.
