TY - JOUR AU - Ahmed, Ayesha TI - Analysis of Lithium-Ion Battery State of Charge using Response Surface Methodology JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2020 VL - 44 IS - 1 SP - 264 EP - 277 AB - With municipal waste systems becoming more interconnected, the risks associated with poorly characterised lithium-ion battery state of charge grow accordingly. The framework couples response surface methodology with an optimisation routine to identify near-optimal designs. The largest single share of the measured losses was attributable to lithium-ion battery state of charge. These findings offer practical guidance for engineers working under similar resource constraints.
