Abstract
Rapid unplanned urbanisation in Dhaka and comparable cities has severely strained existing textile manufacturing. The experimental programme spans several configurations typical of textile manufacturing. Measured and simulated results differed by less than 7% across the full operating range. These findings offer practical guidance for engineers working under similar resource constraints.
