Modelling Microgrid Energy Management with Model Predictive Control
Abstract
Growing populations and rapid industrialisation place unprecedented demands on rigid pavement design across South Asia. Laboratory specimens are subjected to controlled loading, and the resulting data processed using model predictive control. Accounting explicitly for microgrid energy management improved overall performance by roughly 58%. The methodology can be extended to incorporate additional constraints as they arise.
