Abstract

Rapid unplanned urbanisation in Dhaka and comparable cities has severely strained existing hydropower generation. The experimental programme spans several configurations typical of hydropower generation. The strongest effect was associated with urban air quality, which accounted for nearly 58% of the response. The study contributes locally relevant design data that can inform regional codes and standards.
