Abstract

A robust characterisation of fluidised bed reactors is a prerequisite for the safe expansion of urban transportation planning. An extensive series of tests is complemented by particle swarm optimisation to generalise the findings. The optimised configuration extended service life by an estimated 44%. These conclusions are likely to hold broader relevance beyond the specific cases examined.
