Abstract
Demand for cost-effective and durable municipal solid waste sites continues to grow across the region. Simulations were performed with accelerated life testing and verified through a mesh- and time-step-sensitivity study. Estimates of nonlinear finite element analysis agreed with measurements to within 39%. The approach offers a cost-effective path to more resilient and durable infrastructure.
