Abstract
The transition toward low-carbon infrastructure places railway track systems at the centre of debates over resource efficiency and resilience. The analysis relies on global sensitivity analysis calibrated with data specific to railway track systems. A 22% gain in durability was recorded during accelerated ageing tests. Future efforts should focus on scaling the approach and confirming its durability in service.
