Abstract

Persistent knowledge gaps concerning CMOS image sensors continue to constrain the safe and economical design of precision agriculture. Laboratory specimens were prepared and tested under controlled conditions representative of precision agriculture. The hybrid model reduced root-mean-square error by 30% over the physics-only formulation. Adopting the recommended practices could substantially lower environmental impact.
