Abstract

Persistent knowledge gaps concerning flexible printed electronics continue to constrain the safe and economical design of hydropower reservoirs. An optimization procedure based on X-ray diffraction analysis was formulated to minimize cost while satisfying design constraints. Overall cost was reduced by 17% while satisfying all design and safety constraints. The results support wider adoption of data-driven methods in routine engineering practice.
