Abstract

Meeting national sustainability goals requires a deeper understanding of self-healing polymers within arsenic-affected aquifers. The methodology integrates genetic algorithms with uncertainty quantification to capture variability observed in arsenic-affected aquifers. Predicted and measured values of self-healing polymers differed by less than 56% across all scenarios. Taken together, the study advances practical understanding while opening several avenues for further research.
