Abstract

The interplay between smart grid demand response and long-term reliability in hydropower reservoirs has received comparatively little systematic attention. Simulations were performed with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and verified through a mesh- and time-step-sensitivity study. The proposed controller improved settling time by 46% compared with the baseline. The methodology is transferable to related problems with only modest adaptation.
