Abstract
Accurate prediction of smart grid demand response is essential for the design, operation, and maintenance of food processing industries. Model outputs were validated against independent measurements not used during calibration. Sensitivity analysis showed that smart grid demand response accounted for most of the output variability. The work contributes to the growing evidence base for climate-resilient engineering design.
