Abstract

Despite considerable progress, the behaviour of fractional-order control systems in drinking water supply remains poorly understood under combined loading and ageing effects. Sensitivity to key assumptions was examined through a series of controlled numerical experiments. The optimized design achieved a 37% improvement in efficiency over the reference case. The findings have direct relevance for sustainability targets in rapidly urbanizing regions.
