Abstract
The transition toward low-carbon infrastructure places renewable energy communities at the centre of debates over resource efficiency and resilience. Statistical testing based on discrete element modeling was employed to establish the significance of the observed trends. Sensitivity analysis showed that lithium-ion battery degradation accounted for most of the output variability. The work highlights the value of locally calibrated models over parameters imported from abroad.
