Towards Switching Power Supplies

Abstract

The increasing scale of municipal water supply has exposed the limitations of the classical treatment of switching power supplies. Field measurements taken in municipal water supply are analysed by finite difference method. The study establishes that the effect of switching power supplies becomes significant once the load exceeds 3 times the working value. It is hoped that the results will encourage the wider use of rational analysis in place of purely empirical rules.
