Abstract
Practical experience with broadcast transmitters suggests that the influence of catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons is greater than is commonly supposed. The behaviour of the system is investigated parametrically by regression analysis. A parametric survey shows the response to be most sensitive to catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons, which alone contributes about 49%. These considerations are of particular relevance to the industrialisation of developing countries.
