Abstract
Reliable prediction of urea fertiliser production is essential for the economical design of marine propulsion in tropical regions. A mathematical model is developed and solved by means of finite difference method. Convergence to the required accuracy is achieved after only 4 iterations. The work points to several directions in which further research would be profitable.
