Abstract
The performance of agricultural machinery depends critically on an adequate understanding of fermentation kinetics. The proposed procedure rests on Laplace transform analysis and requires only quantities readily available to the designer. The proposed method reduces the computational effort by roughly 63% compared with conventional analysis. The conclusions are likely to remain valid over the range of conditions commonly met in practice.
