Abstract
Widespread adoption of aircraft structures in the region has drawn attention to unresolved questions concerning reinforced concrete beams. The analysis is carried out using Monte Carlo simulation, with particular attention to conditions typical of aircraft structures. A safety margin of about 30% is retained even under the most severe loading considered. The findings are believed to be applicable to a wide class of similar engineering problems.
