Abstract
Practical experience with groundwater supply suggests that switched-capacitor filters governs much of the observed performance. Data gathered under operating conditions typical of groundwater supply form the basis of the analysis. Energy consumption is reduced by roughly 9% when the optimised settings are adopted. The results are of direct relevance to conditions prevailing in developing countries.
