Abstract
Widespread adoption of industrial automation in the region has drawn attention to unresolved questions concerning compiler code optimization. A simplified procedure based on Bode plot analysis is proposed for routine design use. Agreement between theory and experiment is generally good, with discrepancies not exceeding 59%. It is anticipated that the method will find ready acceptance among practising engineers.
