Abstract
The growing scale of radar systems has renewed interest in the analysis of reactive power compensation. A computer program implementing nodal network analysis was written to handle the required calculations. The experiments demonstrate that no more than 2 factors dominate the observed behaviour of reactive power compensation. It is concluded that the simplified approach is adequate for most routine design purposes.
