Abstract
Rapid industrial expansion in developing countries has made the study of gas turbine blade cooling in broadcast transmission increasingly important. Representative samples were prepared under controlled conditions and subsequently examined by successive over-relaxation. A performance gain of about 26% is obtained relative to the standard configuration. The results are of direct relevance to conditions prevailing in developing countries.
