Abstract
This study is motivated by the growing importance of catalytic reaction kinetics in modern steel rolling mills. The approach integrates Taguchi methods with experimental calibration to improve predictive accuracy. The results indicate that catalytic reaction kinetics can be improved by nearly 12% relative to conventional practice. The recommendations arising from this work can be applied with little additional expenditure.
