Abstract
A rational basis for the design of fertiliser plants requires reliable information on gas turbine blades. Experimental specimens representative of fertiliser plants are prepared and tested under controlled conditions. The results indicate that gas turbine blades can be improved by nearly 14% relative to conventional practice. The findings should encourage the wider adoption of energy-efficient design practices across the industry.
