Abstract

The suitability of imported technology for automotive engines depends on how well membrane gas separation is characterised locally. A parametric study is conducted to assess the sensitivity of the results to the principal variables. It is found that membrane gas separation accounts for as much as 50% of the total observed variation. It is hoped that the results will contribute to more economical and durable engineering solutions.
